Candy Crush Saga is a free-to-play, puzzle video game released by King on April 12, 2012, for Facebook; other versions for iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and Windows 10 followed. It is a variation of their browser game Candy Crush.

In the game, players complete levels by swapping colored pieces of candy on a game board to make a match of three or more of the same color, eliminating those candies from the board and replacing them with new ones, which could potentially create further matches. Matches of four or more candies create unique colored candies that act as power-ups with larger board-clearing abilities. Boards have various goals that must be completed within a fixed number of moves or a limited amount of time, such as collecting all the blue and green candies in a certain number of moves.

Candy Crush Saga was one of the first games to introduce social leaderboards by connecting to the player's Facebook account. The game is also one of the top-grossing games on iOS and Android, with King generating an estimated $1.33 million per day in revenue from microtransactions in the game as of March 2013.

The objective of Candy Crush Saga is to collect as many points as possible. The game is played by swapping two adjacent pieces of candy on a game board to make a match of three or more of the same color, eliminating those candies from the board and replacing them with new ones, which could potentially create further matches. If the player matches four or more pieces of candy, they create a unique candy that has special abilities, such as the ability to clear a row or column of candies. The game is won by completing the objective of the level; for example, collecting all the blue and green candies in a certain number of moves.

Candy Crush Saga features over 300 levels, each with a different objective. The game is heavily reliant on microtransactions, with players able to purchase in-game currency to progress through the game faster.

Conclusion

I have to say that I was really impressed with Candy Crush Saga. The graphics are colorful and vibrant, and the game is really easy to pick up and play. I also like the fact that it is heavily reliant on microtransactions, as it allows players to progress through the game at their own pace.

  • The graphics are colorful and attractive
Cons:
