Grounded

I've never been a big fan of insects. Spiders, mites, beetles, earwigs, you name it - if it's small, has more than four legs, and is capable of scurrying across my floor, I'm not a fan. So, when I saw the trailer for Grounded, a new game from Obsidian Entertainment, I was intrigued. In Grounded, you play as a character who has been shrunken down to the size of an ant and must survive in a backyard full of dangers.

The game's art style is colorful and cartoony, and the backyard you're exploring is full of giant blades of grass, flower petals, and acorns. It's a beautiful place, but it's also full of deadly creatures like wasps, spiders, and ants. As you explore the backyard, you'll need to gather resources to build shelter, craft weapons, and make food. You'll also need to avoid being eaten by the many predators that wander the backyard.

I was impressed with the game's attention to detail. The insects look realistic, and the way they move is convincing. I also loved the game's sense of humor.
