A Dark Twist on Love: Heart Eyes Unleashes Valentine's Day Horror

Valentine's Day is traditionally celebrated as a time for romance, where couples engage in delightful dates and cherished moments together. However, this year, the creators behind Scream are introducing a different perspective with the release of a chilling slasher film that targets those in love.

The film, titled Heart Eyes, presents a terrifying scenario where a sinister serial predator pursues couples, identifiable by the distinctive heart-shaped eyes featured on its mask, all set against the backdrop of Valentine's Day. This concept serves as a unique twist on the typical Scream pattern.

Directed by Josh Ruben, the screenplay is the work of Phillip Murphy, Christopher Landon, and Michael Kennedy. The film stars Olivia Holt and Mason Gooding, alongside a talented ensemble that includes Gigi Zumbado, Michaela Watkins, Devon Sawa, and Jordana Brewster are involved in the project, which is set to premiere in theaters on February 7.
