Edge of Memories: A New JRPG Adventure in a World Threatened by Corrosion

In the ever-evolving world of gaming, fans of Japanese role-playing games faced quite a tough year. While numerous major titles made their debut and garnered excellent reviews, the upcoming year seems to promise a slower pace. However, this might provide a perfect opportunity to delve deeper into what has already been released.

Yet, the role-playing genre continues to thrive with new releases. Midgar Studio from France, in collaboration with Nacon, has unveiled a new game titled Edge of Memories. The design takes clear inspiration from Japanese manga and incorporates several distinct elements from traditional role-playing games typical of the genre.

The narrative centers on a devastating plague known as Corrosion that poses a significant threat to the whole planet. Central to the story is Eline, a young Soul Whisperer who possesses the unique ability to manipulate Corrosion, making her crucial in the battle against this menace. Along her journey, she is not alone; she is accompanied by a team of allies who aid her in this epic adventure.
