Netflix announced yesterday that a glimpse of the second season of Wednesday would be revealed today. The streaming service has unveiled a teaser for the upcoming episodes, which are scheduled to air in August and September.

The new season will continue to center on the main character while broadening its scope to encompass her uniquely quirky relatives. Her brother Pugsley is now a student at Nevermore Academy, and both her parents are expected to feature more prominently in the narrative. In addition, a fresh family member will make an entrance, with Joanna Lumley assuming the role of Grandmama Hester Frump.

He mentioned that Wednesday returns to Nevermore with the expectation of familiarity, only to have her understanding of the situation completely upended by unforeseen events.
